Starting in the Field: digital transformation— Why YMFG Is Partnering with UPWARD —
[YMFG × UPWARD Panel Discussion Seminar] Limited Seating!! Please register early.
Isn't a day in the life of a public relations specialist just getting swallowed up by routine tasks?
Deciding which clients to visit based on a paper list and memory, then entering the details of the meetings all at once after returning to the office—the burden of converting these activities into data, and
As long as the structure remains in place where that data isn't fed back into subsequent actions, operations on the ground will not be ready for the AI era.
In this session, we’ll be joined by Mr. Kyohei Nitta from the Strategy Department at Yamaguchi Financial Group digital transformationfor a conversation-style discussion.
In addition to the new CRM (Salesforce) that went live in March 2026, the group is actively promoting the use of UPWARD as a tool to support field sales activities. We spoke with the Sales team digital transformationabout the background behind making this a management priority, the key factors that led to its adoption, how map-based visit planning is transforming a sales representative’s day, and the strategies they’ve implemented to ensure continued adoption on the front lines.
We’ll also explore how to leverage accumulated behavioral data to inform organizational decision-making, support talent development, and ultimately advance the use of AI. For everyone working on digital transformationin public relations and sales promotion, we’ll provide a realistic, field-based perspective.
