In Japan, the way sales visits and field sales are conducted is about to undergo major changes.

In this seminar, NEC and UPWARD will team up to explain "what field sales should look like in the future" while unraveling the real issues occurring in the field and their backgrounds.
We will paint a picture of the future of the sales workplace, looking at the current situation and latest trends in Japan from NEC's perspective, the specific solutions offered by UPWARD, and even using actual implementation examples.

Since joining NEC, he has been engaged in sales to customers in a wide range of industries, including communications, manufacturing, nursing care, and real estate, for over 10 years.
From 2023, he will be in charge of planning and developing products and services for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The company is also participating in NEC's Client Zero initiative, and is working towards customers' digital transformation based on the experience it has gained within the company.

Masaki Ishida
Executive Officer and Vice President, UPWARD Inc.
After graduating from UCLA in 2009, he joined Trend Micro Inc. After working in marketing and sales in new businesses, he started his own business.
In 2015, he joined salesforce.com Inc. (now Salesforce Japan). He worked as Inside Sales, Account Executive, Sales Manager, and then as Branch Manager.
He then joined Slack Japan K.K., where he was in charge of the enterprise space with a focus on the automotive and high-tech industries, and joined UPWARD in March 2021.
