[October 20 (Tue) Free Online Seminar] AI Specialized for Field Sales Is Transforming On-Site Operations and Management

An Introduction to Sales Organization Reform Using the AI Agent “UPWARD,” Featuring Real-World Examples and Demos

UPWARD, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Ryusuke Kaneki; hereinafter “UPWARD”) will host an online seminar titled “What Field Staff Will Do—and What They Will Stop Doing—After Implementing UPWARD” on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m.

In this seminar, we will use actual implementation case studies and demonstrations to show how the way field sales teams work and the fundamentals of management are transformed in sales organizations that have adopted “UPWARD,” an AI agent specialized for field sales.
We will go beyond simply discussing the operational scalability of “UPWARD”—such as AI automatically recommending client visits—to explain how it actually maximizes results and streamlines operations from the field’s perspective. Specifically, we’ll detail how the system reduces the ancillary tasks that burden field staff—such as entering daily reports and creating visit schedules after returning to the office—and what tasks these field workers no longer need to perform.

logs from Field Sales Don't Stick: Structural Challenges Faced by Field Sales

In recent years, while many companies have been shifting toward office-based work digital transformation—primarily for desk workers—field sales representatives, whose jobs involve constant travel for client visits and business meetings, tend to be left behind by this trend digital transformationdue to the nature of their work.

In the field, there are two structural challenges—the “two barriers”—where digital tools designed for desk work become difficult to use outside the office and thus become ineffective, and where employees, busy with travel and business meetings, lack the time to calmly organize information, resulting in daily reports—compiled after returning to the office—that lack both quantity and quality.

(1) The "Input Barrier" That Remains Unresolved

Approximately 70% of sales activities are either not recorded at all logor only partially recorded log, and even among those who do log, about 60%enter the dataafter returning to the office orgoing home*1. This structure makes it difficult to accumulate real-time and accurate first-hand information.

② The “Behavioral Barrier” That Prevents Changes in On-Site Behavior

Even though the number of data records has increased due to the implementation of the tool, this has not led to improvements in “next sales actions”—specifically, “who to meet, when to meet them, and what to propose.”

In this seminar, we will explain—using concrete examples and demonstrations—how to automatically logall first-hand information into your CRM using the field sales AI agent “UPWARD,” as well as how to leverage the accumulated data to drive sales results, covering both frontline and management transformation.
