Asahi Kizai began using UPWARD in January 2025 with the aim of enabling the immediate sharing of on-site information and promoting mobile work. Now that the system has become firmly established in on-site operations and has led to a qualitative improvement in sales activities, the company has moved into a new phase of implementation.
Before implementing UPWARD, there were limitations on entering data while on the go, and creating daily reports after returning to the office placed a significant workload on sales representatives. Since the implementation, they have been able to instantly share location-based information from their smartphones, transforming their work style to make effective use of travel time. We have also achieved a significant increase in the number of activity reports, which was one of our quantitative goals.
We have also launched an initiative that uses the AI Scan (AI image analysis) feature to automatically input information simply by photographing construction planning signs. We plan to publish detailed case studies on how this technology is being used to streamline data entry on-site at a later date.

Until now, we had been submitting sales activity reports once a week. However, since we would prepare these reports the day before the deadline while trying to recall the events of the entire week, we often missed details log and the process was time-consuming. Additionally, since on-site management was left entirely up to individual team members, they were often too busy with day-to-day tasks to follow up on new prospects or take timely action on existing sales opportunities. As a result, there were instances where we lost business.
We have recently implemented the UPWARD system to streamline our overall sales operations, including reducing the burden of administrative tasks and simplifying activity management. Furthermore, thanks to our newly adopted AI image analysis system, case information required for activity reports—which previously had to be entered manually—is now automatically populated, resulting in a significant reduction in the time required for these tasks.
