NEC and UPWARD reveal the reality and future of sales digital transformation

Background: "Evolution of Field Sales" required in the era of sales digital transformation 

The way of sales and field sales in Japan is about to undergo a major transformation.
While many companies are promoting the digital transformation sales, they are also facing issues such as "where to start," "it is not penetrating into the field," and "the results of efficiency improvement are not visible.
In this seminar, NEC and UPWARD will join forces to explain the "ideal future of field sales" while unraveling the background of the real issues occurring in the field.
The seminar will discuss the current situation and latest trends in the Japanese sales field from NEC's perspective, specific solutions provided by UPWARD, and actual case studies. The presentation will also include actual case studies to illustrate the future of the sales field.

About the Speakers 

Mr. Yuya Tsuda
NEC Industrial digital transformation Division
Director, digital transformation Solutions Group

Since joining NEC, he has been involved in sales to customers in a wide variety of industries, including telecommunications, manufacturing, nursing care, and real estate, for more than 10 years.
Since 2023, he has been in charge of product and service planning and development for small and medium-sized corporate customers.
He has also participated in NEC's Client Zero initiative, and based on his own experience, has been working to help customers digital transformation based on the experience he has gained in his own company.

Masaki Ishida
Executive Vice President, UPWARD

After graduating from UCLA in 2009, he joined Trend Micro Inc. After working in marketing and sales in new businesses, he started his own business.
In 2015, he joined salesforce.com Inc. (now Salesforce Japan). After working as Inside Sales, Account Executive, and Sales Manager, he was engaged as Branch Manager.
He then joined Slack Japan K.K., where he was in charge of the enterprise space with a focus on the automotive and high-tech industries, and joined UPWARD in March 2021.
